In our first ten months of operation, Caffe Moderne has been honored with more than our fair share of awards.

 

At Kansas City's 2008 Sweet Bean competition, sponsored by Kahlúa, Monin Gourmet Flavorings, the Raphael Hotel of Kansas City, and the Roasterie, Caffe Moderne made a near-sweep of the Creative Coffee/Liquor Drink category, winning the first-, third-, and fourth-place awards from a number of entries. Our winning creation, the Espresso Turtle Martini, was featured in Imbibe magazine. Caffe Moderne's success at the competition led to a live appearance on Kansas City News Channel Fox 4, where our gelato, coffee, and panini were spotlighted.

 

In December 2007, the readers of Wichita magazine named Caffe Moderne the proud purveyor of:
